How can I present something to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen?
Requests may be submitted directly to the Board of Mayor and Alderman at the Board Meeting or by contacting the City Recorder at 731-696-4515 or rita.reasons@gmail.com to have it put on the agenda.
How can I purchase a cemetery plot?
Contact City Hall at 731-696-4515.
How do I apply for employment with the Town of Alamo?
You can pick up an application at City Hall when open positions are available.
How do I obtain a beer permit?
Complete the beer application, and pay $250.00 to complete a background check and public notice requirements.
How do I pay my bill?
Payments may be made by mail, in person at City Hall,  in one of two drop boxes available outside City Hall, online, or by phone.  Or you may pay your bill by phone using your checking account or credit card by calling 877-675-1662.  To pay online go to our Pay Your Bill Online page.

The Town of Alamo offers an automatic payment plan that will not only save you the cost of a stamp, but gives you the peace of mind knowing that your monthly bill is paid on time.  When you enroll in the plan you will receive your monthly bill as usual.  Authorization forms are available at the Utility Billing counter.  Complete the form, and submit it with a voided check to the Utility Clerk.
How do I report a problem like potholes, sinkholes, collapsed road, etc.?
Contact City Hall at 731-696-4515 or 731-696-4485.
What are the City Hall hours of operations?
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM except holidays.
When are the Mayor and Board of Aldermen meetings?
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen have a regularly scheduled monthly board meeting on the first Monday of every Month at 5:00 PM.
