Alamo is a historic town named for the siege and battle where Davy Crockett gave his life for Texas independence. More Tennesseans died defending The Alamo than did Texans. We are proud of our heritage, our name, and our home town.

Board meetings are the first Monday of every month at 5:00 p.m.  In the event of a reschedules meeting the change of date is post on the door at city hall and the post office and on the calendar on the website.
