We have 2 drug drop boxes for safe disposal of medications. These drop boxes stop the disposal into the sewer system, which eventually over time gets back to the water table. There is one box located at the police department, and the other box is located at city hall. TDEC and USDA partnered with the Town of Alamo to have permanent collection boxes.
If you have information about a crime, but are uncomfortable identifying yourself, there are ways you can confidentially share what you know without anyone knowing who you are. It is always best to report a crime. The information you provide can help you or someone else or can help the police solve crimes and arrest and convict the right people. You are contributing to making your community safer. If you would like to speak directly with a staff member, you may call the Police Department at 731-696-4483.
