The Public Works Department is what's responsible for the essential infrastructure operational here in Alamo, encompassing everything from road maintenance to water and sewage systems. The department collaborates with its employees and local contractors to oversee projects improving roads, sewers, and stormwater systems across Alamo and strives to meet the town's standards with minimal disruption to the community. For reporting issues like potholes, sinkholes, or collapsed roads, please reach out to Ferris Arnold, the Superintendent, at 731-696-4485 or [email protected]. |

Brush collection starts on the first Tuesday of each month. Leaves must be bagged for pick-up. Brush refers to trimmed branches or shrubs grown naturally. Household items will not be collected.
Junk collection occurs in April and October, as indicated on the water bill notification. Residents may place junk at the curbside one week before the scheduled pick-up. The specific dates change annually, so refer to the calendar on your water bill for precise details. Remember, brush and junk must not be mixed; they require separate disposal. Additionally, tires are not accepted, as Republic Services does not collect them.
